Crank #3

I don't remember much about the production of Crank #3. I was obviously still living in Philadelphia, and I'd have to guess that Tom and I were still drinking quite a bit. I was feeling good about the success of Crank, riding high on issue #2's popularity. The print job on Crank #3 kinda sucked, though, because I tried to get too fancy. The printers weren't able to handle the halftones I'd stuck throughout the magazine, so much of the book went very dark. No matter, really. I'd printed 1000 copies or so, and they sold out at Tower and via Fine Print in no time.
